One Life Food Pantry is deeply dependent on the time and talent of our many dedicated volunteers that help our clients each week. Without them, we would not be able to function.

Looking for a rewarding experience helping your community and getting to know your neighbors? At One Life we are looking for friendly, compassionate, dependable volunteers that want to spread love to our community.

Here are some of our volunteer opportunities:

  • Shelf Stocking –Fridays 11:30 – 2:30

Help us unload and unpack food from the Clark County Food Bank and stock shelves, assemble boxes, and fill our freezers and refrigerators. Please wear closed-toed shoes when volunteering. This job requires you to be on your feet.

  • Food Distribution Volunteer – Saturdays – 9:00 – 11:30

Volunteers help us in various positions during our Saturday food distribution. Some of those opportunities include greeting clients, translating, checking clients’ in, filling out order slips, shopping for clients' orders, filling in shopping tables, and taking boxes out to clients' cars. The job you will be doing will be determined each week when you arrive.

  • Giving Garden – Prearranged

Help us plan, plant, maintain, and harvest our garden. Our garden consists of 9 raised beds. We use our garden to teach our clients to grow vegetables at home. We incorporate the vegetables grown in our garden into our food pantry. There is not a set time for working in the garden. Contact us and we can work on a schedule. This garden is operational from about early May to late September
